"For there is always light..."

Beautiful, wise words by National Youth Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman during yesterday's inauguration ceremony.

But this post isn't really about the inauguration or who's president. It's about you, and me, and everyone else we know.

There is always light, and there's always hope, but pinning all our hopes on the President (or anyone else for that matter) sets us up for disappointment. If we want the world to change - to become more caring, compassionate, less judgmental and divided - then guess what? We have to be brave and change!

It might sound impossible, but if you're one of the millions of people who is hoping for a brighter future, know this: we can totally do it

Through meditation and healing work you can start to let go of the shit that's been holding you back. You can learn to be gentle with yourself and to take a step back from your thoughts, letting go of the stresses and anxieties that would normally rile you up. And as you let go of those things you'll find that the little spark of peace that's been growing within you will start to flow out into your relationships and those around you. You'll feel lighter and less bogged down in the day to day dramas of life, you'll be more relaxed and (dare I say it) likely more pleasant to be around (I can say that because my fiancé has told me the same thing, lol).

If you're tired of living in this stressed out world full of rage, divisiveness and upset, know this: I feel you. But don't give up, because if you're brave enough to see the light change is just around the corner. If you're ready for that kind of positive change for yourself and those around you, message me to set up a free, no-strings, consultation.

Let's make this world shine!
